The treatment includes the installation of bait systems designed to poison colonies in addition to annual monitoring services.

  • Bait systems that will be carried back to the colony

Mosquito Services

During an initial inspection, a Terminix technician will determine the best mosquito treatment for your yard and identify problem areas, such as standing water, that may be breeding grounds for these pests. Options for mosquito services include natural treatments, liquid pesticides and granular treatments applied directly to your soil. The provider offers one-time treatments and ongoing mosquito services throughout warmer months in your region.

Bed Bug Services

Terminix offers pest management for bed bugs customized to your home's needs. In an initial visit, a technician will inspect your linens, upholstered furniture and bedding for signs of bed bug activity. 

Next, they will remove any visible bed bugs or eggs around the home. They may also employ common treatments such as steam, encasements and monitoring devices depending on the level of infestation.

Other Services

The area of the country you live in may determine what services your local Terminix branch offers. However, there are many treatment plans and standalone services available. Other Terminix services may include:

British Columbia's new restrictions on the use of certain rodent poisons may be having an unintended side effect, amid reports of growing rat and mouse populations.
